Can we prog the code with only 4 wires?

Vdd, Vss, OSC1 and OSC2.

I heard that somewhere.

I posted a thread with some links for in-circuit programming using just three or four wires, from the Ubicom web site. In theory you could build your chip into a PS2 and bring out the wires via a phone jack. Then with the parallel port on your PC you could update the code without opening the PS2 again.

Hello,

Which programmer can I use to program the SX28AC? I don't want to build a fluffy2, but we have some programmerers here.

I bought a Gallep4 to program the SXs, but it only supports the early Scenix 28sx, not the newer Ubicom, I know its the same chip but the product ID has been changed so the Gallep does not recognise them. A s/w patch to upgrade the Gallep4 is due in the new year... I'm using a blitz.

after burning the chip, u have to push the "chip/code protection" button.
