if u put a original game in , it will act like it starts but then it goes back to the broswer screen (like where ur memory card is at or game) , thats u put firmware disk in and flash it , don't forget bootmanager , its in the firmware disk . :)

Thanks I got it (i have to do it a couple of times to disable it and the only way to know is to try a copy of a game)...Last time I get CC chip, thats pretty dumb that you have to hit reset 6 times, couldn't they do like other chips and just hold a button...
after i disable the chip it says put a ps2 formatted game in, when i do this the game will not boot it just stays on the red screen .what is going wrong?

Don't disable your chip.
Simply press x on Boot Disc in the BM and then choose the "Sleep Mode" or the "Minimal Boot Mode".
With the hacked firmware19 you can even play backups online!
where do i get the hack 19 frimware?and do i burn it on dvd?
thanks

So it automatically bypasses the DNAS so I can play burnt and backups online?
