here's an ISO of PS2 Media Player PRo u can also send to your HDD, am trying to make it bootable from Memory Card also ithin the Matrix Inf MEmCard Manager, but no luck yet, maybe sumone could help me out.

Paolo told me, he had unpacked The PS2MEDIA.ELF, then he opened it with HEX editor and searched for the string 'cdfs:/AUTOPS2.TXT' changed it to 'hdd0:/AUTOPS2.TXT' and presto..it booted from hdd, now i wanted to do the same but then change it to 'mc0:/AUTOPS2.TXT' and hope it willl work.

*EDIT* I found that in the new MediaPlayer PRO the / in 'mc0:/AUTOPS2.TXT' is an \ in the old PS2mediaPlayer...i changed it see what happens..

I alos noticed that u can run it from cd, but then u have to change LBA settings of SYSTEM.CNF(12231) and PS2MEDIA.ELF(12232). if u want to boot it from HDD however, u don not have to change LBA settings, and just make an image wit cdgenps2, then send it too your HDD as a normal game( like the matrix upgrade).

if someone has ps2mediaplayerPRO running from memcard, please let me know

hmm, did u used the original ELF ? or my modified one ?

and i know there's a diff with the INSTALL.CNF scripts.

U have to press ENTER at the end of the script, but with my old firmware 1.40BETA, i had to press ENTER 2 times before the install procedure worked, anyhow, i found another thingy on http://rapidshare.de/files/3873735/MEDIA_PLAYER_PRO_PLUS_infinity_manager.rar.html

Am gonna try it right now, altough I wud really like to find out myself, and what i did wrong

well, i managed to get the Media Player Plus By Hackchip to boot from HDD, here it is, just send the iso over to your HDD.
