First off I would like to ask if these are actually new? And second off is this a good mod chip...like the matrix or magic or messiah? It seems pretty kool.

these chips are good, but you have to be careful when you install them. if you muck up the install, you have a chance of ruining the ps2 all together.
if you are not confident with the ps2s insides, i would stick with a soldier dms4 and get the ps2 professionally installed.

Solderless mods like the EZI have a well-documented history of problems, not just on the PS2 but other consoles as well. It is no substitute for a soldered mod. Go with the soldered DMS4, Matrix Infinity, or Crystal Chip.
ive had nothing but luck with them ive installed 5 of them
only problem is ive botched a few romeo mods (broke the leg once, and bridged the 5v and 12v

I'm enjoying my DMS E.Z.I. Pro. I didn't have too much problem installing it in my V7. Still going strong, I actually just recently put in a 250GB Maxtor drive I got from work for a 100 bucks.
