View Full Version : Faulty subzero fix?

lol.

Ok, I installed my first Dxx4 chip today (sensored chip name) and i apply subzero fix. The drive went crazy, didnt boot shit. Laser went crazy too, so i thought bad chip install.

Then i removed subzero fix, and it worked, i tried with diffrent subzero fix and now it works.

Do any1 know what happend with the old one? did i miss something since it behave like that?

this happened to me with a bad capacitor
if you had switched teh machine on with the lid open and waited for it to say browser then close the lid it probably would have worked or at least it did with me

But mine is not a PCB it is a rats nest

might be a badly soldered component (by machine) or a bad cap.
Just add some solder to the components on the fix pcb to be sure

Oki, this happend again with the subzero for me. I just thrashed it and replaced it. Now it works again.
