Anyone got some insight on this one? :chinscrat I just got a external hard drive case the connects using a USB. I want to plug my PS2 hard drive in it and connect it to the PC so I can put God Of War on the drive. I used to hard connect my PS2 hard drive to my PC, but after it wiping my drive on two occasions, I thought it best to connect it through an external inclosure from now on.
Anyway... when I put the drive in the enclosure and connect it to the PC, I can't get the program I used before to recognize a PS2 hard drive being connected. :banghead:
Any one know how to fix this, or a program that is able to recognize an external PS2 drive?

You'll need USB Advance or Extreme, and use ul_install, they have a GUI version of it.

God of War isn't working with USBeXtreme / USBAdvance anyway......

I need USB Exteme to copy games from my computer to my PS2 hard drive even if I intend on running the PS2 hard drive through my network adapter after the game has been copied? I don't want to use the external encloser to run my hard drive games, only to copy them from the computer. Do I still need USB Extreme?

You need to partition the usb drive, then assign it a drive letter.

Then use WinHIIP to ps2 format it, and copy images to it.
