Hello

I was wondering if someone can help me. I downloaded the cracked copy of USB Extreme and I am having trouble burining the images to disc. All the disc's i have burned using the *.cue file, when i load them to use to USB HDD, it says "Please insert a Playstation or Playstation 2 format disc". I have burned the *.cue files in alcohol and nero, both to no luck.

Any chance for a little help? I have a v12 PS-2 with a Western Digital 200Gb USB External drive.

u need for burned games and apps for the ps2 , a modchip or a bootdisk like swap magic.

Hi

I thought with USB extreme, from my understanding from reading forums and people who i have spoken to that you didnt need a modchip or anything like that... im a noob when it comes to console mods... this is my first playstation. ive put games on the hd with usb extreme...

where would i go from here, what do i need to do to get the games working.

well.. that is why u hafta BUY the usb disk.. lol..

u could do an exploit.. but u have those NEWER THINER ones rite? that fixed the expliot >_<

so.. the only way is to ... buy the disk heh

or get those big ps2 (like i have) and make an EXPLOIT!!!!!!

(or get swapmagic3.6 cd's and a USB drive and u can boot it elf files)

ya thats what i thought...

I live in Australia and i just asked a shop that does mod chips and they said they wont be getting any USB extreme disks for a few months :( i wonder if there is a way i can get one faster... ill have to look on ebay

then just buy swap magic and burn usbadvance to a cd and boot it with swap magic

I just noticed this... what do you mean abouty get the swapmagic cd's and boot the elfs?

sorry im a complete console noob :banghead:
What he meant is that "Swapmagic 3.6" can start ELFs from a USB drive, and that is one of the easiest ways to run homebrew stuff on a non-mod v12 PStwo. But of course, you need to buy a pressed original disc with Swapmagic 3.6, to use this method.

im having the same problem,

i have swap magic 3.6 original, and am loading the usb advance cracked cd through it. and go it to work soo far.

my ps2 goes into the usb advance and also shows the games i have backed-up. tekken 5 and gran turismo 4........but when i press on x, for the game to load it just goes into a black screen.

can someone please help me?

what elf files you using in your \SWAPMAGIC\ directory

I have three files

DUMMY.BIN
SWAPMAGIC.ELF
SYSTEM

.......and when my hd load list of games it says USB Advance free version...

anyone have USB extreme version / files

.. I was only able to run 3 games using my files STARWARS III, LEGO STARWARS and NEMO

...what files you gues using? THANKS
