usb 1 more question about file extentions

so if I take the usb-extreme cracked and burn that to a cd, plug my maxtor usb into my ps2 the cd will then install the hd? WIll i have to load the cd each time? Also can i just copy my .iso images to my hd instead of using the UL utilitiy?

You need to boot it from the CD every time you use it (unless you have a chip capable of booting it off your memorycard).

You can't directly copy .ISOs to your HDD because USBExtreme/Advance creates a checksum for every image but in my USBA wide open -thread you'll find UI_Install that can correctly copy your .ISO images to the drive.

alright thx 4 the extra information. I've got a matrix infinity chip and booted ps2reality player before. was wondering how I got the elfs onto the mc just from cd-r
