Psyvariar & Psyvariar 2

Any idea why these two won't boot on the HDD? What can be done?

Psyvariar: Freezes before SUCCESS logo.
Psyvariar 2: Freezes before playing the intro movie (does show the loading screen but that is it).

With the new 0.6hdlpatch, Psyvariar 2 now work on HDD, Psyvariar 1 don't.

Man. There must be some way to allow Psyvariar to work. :(

I've got the complete edition and both work flawlessly from HDL8b..
