View Full Version : Ps2 to pc!
I want to connect my ps2 to my computer. But my computer p3. I don't want to play games on it. I just want to connect it. So then I can download games and play on my ps2 or save my ps2 games to the computer hard drive. This is all I have done:
Connect usb to the modem usb port.
Isn't the computer supposed to check my modem and it automatically update my usb.
I just want use my computer hard drive as my ps2 memory card because I don't have a memory card.

It doesn't work like this! :P
To work, both your PC and PS2 would need some drivers! (and I doubt it would work only like this)
And no, there's no drivers currently release that will let you do it =P

I was thinking the samething if someone could program a server interface like online play type program to run on the PC could you direct connect through the LAN to your PC and use the LAN to host the Images if you shared a folder on the computer over your network and have the PS2 run a boot disk with an INI/elf specifiying the hosting computers IP and a default "IMAGE/Backup" folder in the root of the C:\ Drive i.e "C:\ISO's\area 51.iso" I think you would either have to run a static IP so that the computers IP would not change with a router restart or direct connect with a secondary 10/100 port. If it was going to be attempted I dont think someone would waste there time attempting to utilize the USB when the RJ45 compares like Cable to dialup besides the ethernet jack is always there.
Just a thought
