Fixes the startup speed. That's it. Uses a modified libhdd.a so if you comile it, you'll have the slow startup speed unless you fix the libhdd file in ps2sdk.

I really hope these do not include Draks UMCDR like the last ones. I had hell to pay the other day because of the last ones you posted. He has been giving people the stern notice on these as of late.

That's ok, as I was mainly interested in seeing the other code you've added anyway.

I do have a problem with the binary you posted though, as it fails to launch any ROMs at all, if the saves are on MC. All seems well up to the point where I've selected the ROM to start and press X, and at that point the program just freezes.

The previous version doesn't act like this at all. It has that other problem we've discussed earlier, which only occurs when using strangely named save partitions (like my old ELF partition "+RA.01", remember ?). But I've eliminated that problem by using the MC for saves lately, which works fine with the old version. With the new version however, I HAVE to use the HD for saves, or it will freeze like described above.

I can live with this, as long as it works consistently on HD, but since it's a new feature NOT to support saves on MC, and it wasn't mentioned in your post, I felt that I should tell you about it.

Edit: Further experiments show that the old version too has problems with saves on MC now (though it has worked before...). In fact, I can now use the HD versions of InfoNES, ONLY if I use the same folder on HD for both ROMs and saves. All other setups lead to freezing. It seems very strange... :(

I don't have the UMCDR files on my system. This uses whatever libcd the original release came with. If 7not6 used UMCDR, then this has it. Not my fault, I had no idea. Go ahead and delete those and I'll post ones using the libcdvd from PS2SDK.

The exit function has a problem with this version. Anyone else? The program crashes on exit leaving just a black screen. I don't think it can save it's settings "NES_BUTTONS.cfg" because of this.

KaylaKaze your previous version from January works fine though. BTW: your latest version of InfoGB also works fine.

Well, I've got new versions of InfoGB, InfoNES, and their sources with non-UMCDR drivers ready if you want me to upload them. I don't wanna be uploading too much and taking storage space.

emumaniac, if you read, they are not "new" emu's, just compiled with different libraries other than Drak's, which are unusable.

was there ever any save state option included with infoNES or infoGB?
