Hello all! I'm a long time lurker who needs some help with a project.

A buddy of mine in England sent me a UK PAL Network Adapter Disk. My hopes were to use this to browse the internet via my PS2. Why? Because I'm a nerd!

To make a long story short,

I made a copy of the .iso using DVD decryptor.
Patched the .iso with Pal2NTSC patcher.
Ftp'd it to my PS2's HDD via HDL dumb.
Enabled mode 3 on HDLoader and successfully started the program.

However

Whenever I try to set my ip address and subnet mask the program locks up and I have to reboot my PS2.

So I guess my questions are:

1. Is the lockup due to the fact that I'm trying to run the program via HDLoader?

2. Are there any programs that will let me play the PAL disk directly off of my NTSC PS2 (Cog swap etc)

Any thoughts, ideas, or opinions would be greatly appreciated. Sorry in advance if this isn't in the right section. I wasn't exactly sure where to put it because of the issue potentially being related with HDLoader.

Regards

HDL disables the network adapter. Newer version enable the Network Adapter but only for LAN use. It still fails when checking DNAS so you cannot go online from the HD (with games/apps that require DNAS).
