I'm sorry if this has been asked a million times but i cant seem to find a definitive answer to this topic. I have a version 1 launch ps2. I would like to install a magic 3u chip in it. It seems like the best modchip out for the price. All the vendors i've asked say it will work. I have a feeling they just say that to make a sale. backup-source.com's website says that its been reported that the v1 launch ps2 does not work with the magic3u. Is there anyone out there that has gotten the magic 3u to work in their v1 launch ps2? I would really appreciate any response. Also what is the best modchip for a v1 launch ps2 if the magic 3u isnt? Thanks in advance.
