The "Deluxe" version is for PS2 & XBOX. Its got all the levels from SMB 1 & 2 and another 46 exclusive levels not in the GC games.

Is it confirmed now? I've not had a chance to test it yet.

There are a few guides to help get you started on making your own patches on ps2hd.com. You have to explore for yourselves on what else could possibly stop the game from running. These guides are on the tutorial section there.

And please read the forum rules. Don't be greedy and ask for patches, if people want to make them they will. If not? Make them on your own. I know you asked how to as well, but just saying..don't request. Or heres an idea, just play the game off of the original disc.

I tried creating a patch for this myself, however it didn't work...
Unlike other games which have been patched by blanking out cdvdman in the elf. The main elf for SMB (SLUS_209.18) does not reference cdvdman, that I can see.
Anyone else have any luck?!

Shows supermonkeyball as Toxic OS compatible - do you think that means the toxicloader (toxic os patched to run without a modchip and with crazyc patch?)
I'm unable to test it right now, but the patched toxicos can be found at

The games listed on ps2hd.com's compatibility list that say toxic os compatible are for toxic os 0.3 only. Any game that has a fix such as crazy c's fix or toxic core 0.2 will have a "*" by it and give you information when you roll your mouse over it. Also please remove the link to hdloader, you are not allowed to post that here.

Did anyone try the HDL patched version of toxicOS yet? The 0.2 core version. If so, please reply saying if it worked or not, really was looking forward to playing monkeyball :(

Well I tried it myself using the 0.2 non mod chip version of ToxicOS and can confirm that it doesnt work. (just for anyone who searches this thread in the future)
Here's hoping they release a non modchip version of 0.3 pretty soon ;)
