Devil May Cry 3 confirmed working with HDD

Just got a copy of DMC3. Although it's NTSC/J
The option provides switching of JAP/ENG/KOREAN menus and subtitles (though it has to be switched each time you turned off your PS2)
Rip and re-packed ISO, dump with HDL_dump frontend
Work flawless so far :dance:

same here, and it's a pain to put it back to english each time ! all options are saved in the mc but not the language ... so stupid

I had this game on HDD since it's Japanese release, and yes, it does work on HDD. I'm so happy they went back to its root (in terms of difficulty and background).

yeah it's working but i had some bugs but don't know if it's due to hdl. When i use the lasergun it shoots light the shotgun sometimes, strange no?

GOD about 75% of the time I've spent so far on this is replaying the level cause I died so much (and its on normal difficulty). Anyways, I also have the import and it works perfectly. ^_^

Dude, I'm still stuck on that boss on normal lol. I'm trying everyday new ways and strategies to beat him. He just keeps pounding me.

just beat the crap out of this game, cant even feel my fingers anymore. the ending is awasome!!! and some cool overkill at the end. off to hard mode, after an ice break for my hands :cry: :cry:

Some funny scenes actually - Dante certainly has charisma lol .

Im playing easy mode - but dam its hard.

...yeah just found it above the subtitles option....now i understand what is happening - also made the game somewhat easier :)

Hi, I have a downloaded Devil May Cry 3 NTSC/Jap version that I downloaded is there anyway I can play this on my PS2 hd advance? I tried ripping it but it didn't rip to an ISO, instead it came with a software called Alcohol 120%?? which is used to burn but the thing I'm wondering is its in two files a 3.69gb MDF file and 4.21kb MDS file, are these different forms of ISO? Will I be able to play it on my PS2 hd? If anyone knows anything and is willing to help, it'd be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

alcohol 120% will come with a virtual dvd drive. use it to mount the image, and then install from that, or rip it to ISO from there.

If alcohol doesn't have the drive utility, get Daemon Tools, the free version,
