PS2 MAME and Neo CD for ps2

I have a PS2 MAME emulator with lots of Neogeo Arcade Roms in it, and also the neocd files with neocd bios image
Something is troubling me, there are several roms that has a same titles as in the neogeo CD games
Which one should I use ?
The PS2MAME or NeoCD PS2
What's the differences ?

names are the same, games are the same but this is two different system, and Neocd/PS2 only emulates the neogeo CD console, so only neogeo games released on CD.

one of the main visible difference are cdda tracks used for music in NGCD games (instead of fm music in AES/MVS).

considering the playstation 2 hardware, which is the most convinient ?

Mame runs only small and very antique games.. so dont expect to run games like kof 97 p.e.. so more convenience is the neocd ps2 made by the "beast" EVilo ;-)
