Well i loaded PSMS 1.5 last night - i was very impressed with the emu, being able to play all my old 8-bit SMS games on my PS2 is a dream come true!!

However my only gripe with PSMS it is that it insists on loading games from the MC (which works fine) but as i have over 600 SMS gams that wont all fit on a 8mb MC.

I know you can load games from the CD rom but all mine have been renamed to numbers via the PSMS renaming tool and i cant make out whats - what. It appears the "FILES.TXT" will only be read from BEDATA-SYSTEM'. How can i redirect the roms to be read from the CDROM\FILES.TXT rather then the MC each time. Or better still have PSMS read the FILES.TXT on the root of the CD along side the rom dirs on the CD?

Also whats going on with http://psms.gamebase.ca these days? Seems gamesbase.ca has shut down.

Anyone?

Have you been livin' under a rock? There's a new version of psms that supports loading from cdrom and memory card.
