Ok I am a big fan of naruto as you can see and I got a lot of dvds that I made from avi eps. of naruto I downloaded
this is how I did it
downloaded the esp. in avi format and use ps2 to view them
and I hook the ps2 to my dvd recorder(the one thats like a vhs)to put it on a dvd disk
but the menu I get is a blue one with one option(play)
I want to know if theres a way to put a menu made by me (back ground and options maibe music)on the dvd using my pc i mean saving the already made dvd in the pc and adding the menu then saving the change on a dvd disk
any free software that do this?

Firstly, you should re-encode the avis to mpeg2 on your pc, much less quality will be lost. Use CCE or TMPGEnc to do that.
Then I'd recommend DVD-Lab to build the dvd with menus etc, then just burn it onto dvd with nero or something.
Much more professional!

can you use this dvd-lap pro to put a menu in between two iso images on the dvd? or does the movie havew to be in a vtf format. like the files you get from dvd shrink. if you can do it with iso files how do you do it?

if your converting AVIs to MPEG-2 use DVD2SVCD, theres an option to choose file input and file output, and it makes the conversion much easier, you can even convert PAL to NTSC! :)

Check out http://www.videohelp.com theres a huge list of tutorials and tools to do this and much more. Very useful site.
yes you can do that...just use programs like DVDdecrypter or ISObuster to get your dvd files into the computer and then built your menu with those movie file...it should be very easy and of couse, go to the site the KAL-EL suggest...you should find everything there but if there's something else you need, come back and we'll try to answer you....Just make sure you try to read up on some stuff first before start asking around....have fun...
