It's seems it's you :D

Since you use Keylauncher, you should now that if a tool "will not load", just try to compress it.

INFOGB-IRX.ELF = 600 Ko

Give a try with Ps2-Packer v0.4.4 (http://ps2dev.org/files/ps2-packer-lite-0.4.4-win32.zip) or others

I compressed INFOGB-IRX.ELF with an old Ps2-Packer and

INFOGB-IRX.ELF = 188 Ko

 of course it will load

i get it down to 187kb and uploads it to the memory card.

when i start it with keylaucher it sas "loading from memory card" and then it goes black, and nothing happen

could it be becouse of pal/ntsc? i have a pal ps2 and pal tv

Mine works ditto. Same method. Seems KL needs some elfs compressed before it will launch them. I don't know about the PAL comptibility of it. Don't think that would make a diff, I think it would just look all funky once it boots. Could be wrong though. try booting through ps2menu-k. If that boots it, what version of KL do you have? That may also be the problem.

using ps2-keylauncher-0.4-binary

jeje sorry for beeing a noob :P

but can one of you attach your elf file, so i can see if that works for me? if that does not work it would be something else

cool, np. wonder why it works on my 'same version' KL, but not yours. KL seems to have some compatibility issues with some proggies, for one reason or the other. I use Launchelf now pretty much all the time for quick app starts. PS2mnu-k for all others. (thanks Kayla!)

I think ps2menu-k is better, have never had a elf fail to boot. I have been using it as my boot.elf since day one, although that was only about 3 months ago.

you should seriously give LaunchELF ago... you might be supprised how good it is ;)
(although it can't do auto mc backup)

PS2menu-k is good because it can do damn near everything as far as moving, booting, renaming, etc..... launch elf is good for launching, and that's it. (so you dont have to rummage through directories looking for the damn elf file) KL is graphically easier on the eyes, but has issues with certain elfs.

vinniev2222:
You've missed one big improvement in LaunchELF v3.32 and v3.33.
They are among the most convenient copying browsers available for most PS2 media !!!

You can easily select a large number of files and folders in one place, open the R1 menu and chose 'Cut' or 'Copy'. Then you browse to the intended destination and open the menu to choose 'Paste'. And the copying which then occurs is multi-level recursive, including all subfolders and their content. It is also quite fast, making it ideal to copy entire folder trees from one place to another. It's very useful when installing massive HDD data from CD, and also good for moving massive data from one HDD partition to another.

It works almost like normal clipboard operations, except that no data transfer or removal occurs until you actually use 'Paste'. And that's a very good thing IMO, considering the risk of using 'Cut' otherwise.

wow, I must have an old ass version of LE. KL tried the usb mass: thing, didn't get that to work either. I will definitely have to dl the new version of LE. Is it still as compatible with most all elf's?
