locked DVD's

My son has entered a code in the childlock for DVD. Now he has forgotten the code. Because af that the PS2 asks for a 4 digit code for unlocking the child lock. But since I don't have the code and he has forgotten it, we cannot play any DVD's anymore.

Does anybody have a solution for resetting the childlock ???

Try using code 7444. I got it from my v9's owners manual on page 25. You can check your manual. I hope this helps.

Remember to press Select before entering the code, so you can trigger the master override.
