Whenever your a child you think...YAY! Santa is coming, and going to give me presents..Your happy. Then, you get older then you think YAY! My parents are gonna give me presents cuz santa was a lie, but oh well. Then, you get older, and you start to realize what Christmas is suppose to be about, and the way it's made into these days is utter Bullshit! Especially here in America...
It's suppose to be Jesus' Birthday, a time of love, peace, togetherness, etc. That's how it was...All that is if you believe in God, the bible, etc.
Anyways though..These days people have no idea cuz there so brainwashed by this countries propaganda along with others of course. There's lot of people that think they have to buy somebody the biggest, and most expensive gifts for somebody...Not because they want to, but to make themselves look good, and one up others. In this country they think they have to go out and spend there last dime on gifts to accomplish those types of things. That isn't the way it should be. Giving is good...YES, But like I said these days people are forced into believing so many things. You HAVE TO put up a tree, and you have to have lots of presents, etc, etc.
It isn't so bad for kids IMO, but if that occurs then it's still going to be passed down generation to generation.

I mean...I did buy my girl an expensive gift, and everything, but that's not cuz I thought it was important on how much I spent, but that she actually loved what I got. I didn't ask for anything...Although, I still got a few things.
I'm not saying everybody should be like that. I just think Christmas should focus more on togetherness than going out and spending a ton of money like most everybody does. I'm sure that's what God had in mind...Hey, The day Jesus is born will be used a couple thousands of years from now to stimulate the economy by: making parents by lots of toys there children want, making guys buy the ladies expensive jewely, by selling trees, selling christmas music that if you hear it one more time you'll snap on somebody, to let fat guys dress in a red suit and pretend there somebody special ;).
It's just so old to me anymore, and I'm only 18. It's like people just milk something til it's dry.

I agree... We should all just turn Jewish!
Jewdaism hasn't been commercialised, and it's been around thousands of years longer than Christianity.

*(JEWISH AND PROUD)* - I got a $2 chocolate for Hanuka.. beat that shit.

Your girl, eh? Finally got with her?

LOL, yeah..she is, and she knows it. As soon as I make a move she'll be officially mine ;)
BTW: One thing I can say for gifts..The gift I bought her got me a hug, and a kiss on the cheek from her so guess that was worth it.

but back on to the subject. I think it's rediculous whenever you can't even grocery shop at Wal-mart (now now...No wal-mart bashing in this thread LOL)...Not cuz people need groceries, but because there buying gifts for people. I went there like 3 times in the last couple weeks...Twice to grocery shop, and once for something else I can't remember. The parking lot is massive!!! It's a super wal-mart, and I still had to park a mile away from it. Almost had to park at like a burger king next to it. West Virginia isn't very populated anyways, and where I live definitely is not. So, if Christmas is this bad in a low populated area...I could just imagine what kind of mad house it would be in a busy place like NY, or something.
