What the hell is a EDK-LINK

I was on this forum and i went to go to a link and it said edk-link adn it doesn't work? teh beginning is something like ed2k://|file|..........what do I do?

I might be wrong but that is an E-donkey file which is a P2P application?

yeh I don't even use Edonkey, but that's definitely what that has to be, it only works if u have the app installed.
