I've found a couple, BUT you pay £9 ($14) each and £1.50 for the resonators.... You can get them from the states for $4 ea + Shipping ($45) + Import duty (maybe) + VAT (maybe). If your after one then maybe you'll pay £9 (robbing dogs), but I've opted to ship a numer of them from the states for my own use.
Milford Electronics, www.milinst.com . As I said £9+ ea. They also do a programmer 'the Blitz', for £69 inc 2 x SX28s.
If you find any cheaper let me know.
Farnells - obselete product.
RS - Don't stock them.
Maplins -- HA HA HA..

If you want a few chips then http://www.parallax.com/ (USA) is probably your best bet. If its a large order then you will have to add some duty+VAT, smaller orders its hit and miss.

In the past http://www.crownhill.co.uk have given the company I work for good prices when purchasing 100 to 1000 devices even on items the don't normally stock. There not a company to turn down £$ normally (I'm not implying they are dodgy) so drop them an email asking about the chip and 50Mhz resonators. If they get enougth people asking they may start stocking them.

A long time ago they also supplied PCB's sat-cards so ask them about running up PCB's as well (or blank magic3). If you do ask about blank magic3 the can I reccomend you send the a SMALL!! res picture of the (magic3 PCB + chip + res only) asking if the manufacture a !!! Scenix development board !!! along these lines as a lot of hobbiest projects are starting to use them.
