mgs3 camos and execftp?

Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone who has the 2 new camos "mummy" and "grenade" on their memory card could use Execftp/EMS/Xport/Sharport to dump those saves and post them here?
That'd be great. Mods don't hesitate to tell me if you see a problem with that.

Ka-rosu, do you have any way to copy those saves to PC?
Using the tools I mentionned, Execftps, maxdrive, etc it should be very easy to do.

how do I extract/convert these max files so that I can just ftp the saves over to my memory card?

Edit: Forget it, I just found out with Ps2_Save_Builder_0.8x, but ExecFTPs just stops in the middle of the transfer... argh I'll try some more tomorrow, too tired now.

Hey it worked a treat! Thank you very much Da Brass ;)
Here's how you do with ExectFTP :
-Download and extract the files from Da Brass
-Download PS2 Save Builder [ http://www.ps2savetools.com/download.php?op=getit&lid=74 ], launch it, then do "File" > "Open" (drag'n'drop don't work), then open the first file from Da Brass, there will be 5 items. Select them all then right-click and extract them to a folder. The name of the folder must be BASLUS-209151C11274D for files extracted from archive with 14158 in the name and BASLUS-209151C1960B6 for files extracted from archive with 5766.
Now you got your 2 folders containing 5 files each, you upload the folders directly to your memory card using ExecFTP. Make sure you have 1.55 Megs free before you transfer.

No...doesn't work that way. Only XportV2 (XPS) and Sharkport(SPS) can be renamed that way.

MAX file format is completely different. Alcahest already mentioned above...just use PS2SaveBuilder, open it up, choose save as and your desired format...easy as pie.

As to when the next CAMO gets released...who knows. I'm still waiting for my game to arrive....damn postal service.

It's the Valentine's Camo and it's Japan only....however, there are the Santa and I believe the New Year's Camo that you can download for the US version.

Here are the avaiable 3 camos for MGS3 in separate RAR files.
Each RAR has an extracted camo (with its respective folder) ready to send through ExecFTPs and a Nport save of it.

If any moderator wants to clean this topic and only put this attachaments and ps2savebuilder's link it would be better I think :).. You are the moderator LOL, do what is the best for all :P
