I have the CD version too and it works in HD Loader with NO mode changes.

I believe thats what all the other ppl mean when they say they have the CD version.

I use PS2 HD Hadiness to install it

Thats the problem.

PS2 Handiness is a bugged program.

I had similiar problems with it too but installing directly from HD Loader or using WinHIIP is the best way.

If you can, try installing SVC via HD Loader directly in PS2.

Then your disc has bad sectors on it and thats the cause of it not working on HD Loader whether you install by PC or on PS2.

Hi guys!

I've got SNK vs Capcom SVC Chaos Pal which was also in newsgroups some days ago. http://www.ps2-scene.org/forums/images/smilies/shhh.gif
Well the problem is I can't get it to run in my HD with Hdloader. I've already tryed a lot but the problem starts to correctly transfer the iso by network to the HD.
When I load the Iso with HDLD_GUI_1.1 it doesn't show the CD/DVD Information (SLES number) automatically as usual. But even when I enter it manually hdl_dump doesn't send the image to Ps2. It just starts and immediately finish.
So I tryed hdl_dumb-0.8 and it doesn't read the SLES too but after entering all info manually it sends the iso to Ps2HD.
But when I tryed to start the game from HDloader the screen just goes black and nothing happens.
I think the Image is not transfered correctly.
Also I can't burn the Iso cause Alcohol want to know more info like block size, imageheader-size and imagetrailer-size and I have no idea what the correct values are?!

I first thought the image must be corrupt but they were no errors during unrar and par2 says everything is OK too.

So I don't know what to do else and I really need your help!
I hope someone of you got this iso too and can tell me how to get it to work?! :)
Maybe there's another tool which I don't know and will accept the Iso to send it correctly to PS2! http://www.ps2-scene.org/forums/images/smilies/zypray.gif

You can try winhiip. Use the seacrh button.

Don't treat me like a noob only cause I'm new here, please.
I used the search button that's how I found this thread. ;)
Well I'm a bit afraid to use winhiip cause they are many users who reports lost data after using it.
Anyway I want to try it by network or CD first cause there must be a way to do it.
And if I'd know a way to burn this Iso correctly I could try it from CD, too.

I'm sure there must be people who have experiences with such Iso problems. :)

well if you still have trouble, you can try the following.

Use Blindread (or Blindwrite, they are the same program essentially) to make a iso of your cd with bad sectors. Burn the iso on a CDRW (or cdr). Make an iso out of your disk that you just burn and put that in the HDD (I recommand using WinHIIP). If this still doesn't work then I think you might have to get another copy of the game.

I've got it yet. Now I did it in a similar way.
I burned the Iso with RecordNow MAX and then used Winhiip to copy the Iso from CD to HD and that worked! :D
The problem was this Iso was not in a standard format so HDLdump and other burn progs couldn't read it properly! ;)

But now I'm happy it finally worked!

Thanx for your help! :)
