Ridge Racer 5 USA on HDL?

Hey guys, I have a lot of freezes when playing Ridge Racer 5 USA NTSC on HDLoader.
It seem to occur mostly during the "loading screen" just before a race.
I enabled Mode 1+3 which made it less buggy but still there are some lockups here and there.
I was wondering if anyone managed to play through the entire game on HDL without any freezes?
(i had to install RRV through PC btw, because HDL had "disc errors" when dumping from the disc directly, did this also happen to one of you guys, I suspect my disc may be fuX0red now)

As far as I know ( I never tried Ridge Racer 5 ) this game cannot be run under HDLoader , because of the problem you have just described (lockups) , I don't know if someone has found a fix for this

Seems to be working better with the new patch. At least for the hour I played today, no lockups at the start of a race.

RRV works fine on my HDD, I played several races and didn't notice any problems.
