Little help please

I have a 4" cold cathode that i want to install on my v4 ps2. I have a multimeter and have looked for a 12v point i can hook the inverter up to but when i do it the light doesn't come on....i'm not using solder yet i just want to make sure it works before i solder.

Any pictures that i can use? The only pictures i find are of a different model than mine and can't use it as reference.

look at the other thread about the LED's ....tahst teh points u wanna use on your PSU... its on the under side of your ps2... search from the pic from ben's site

hmm, while putting my ps2 back together the ribbon cable came out so i put it back in and now when i hit eject it ejects it and i hit it again it goes in but when it goes back in the eye lense and stuff doesn't slide up...it's like something is not aligning properly but i've checked it and all seems good.
