in my ps2 network adapter will the hard drive have the power it needs to work ok?

cause im goin to do a external hdd and I want to use the cable to power the hdd and fans maibe some leds just want to be sure the hdd wont get damage

yeah that will work.. won't know why you would want a molex splitter like that.. if you already have that cable and don't need 2 outputs, then you can safely chop on off
