View Full Version : Finaly Done! PS2 in my PSX

I thought it would be kinda neat to customize my PS2 to look like a PSX, so I took the case of my old PSX and fiddled with the PS2 components so they'd fit and now I'm done. The back doesn't look the same though, since I had to fit a fan and HDD port and whatnot. I also exchanged the controller shell with the one of a PSX. Here's the result. This is a PS2:

Only in a ps1? that nothing.

I got mine to fit into an old panasonic pencil sharpener. take a look.

nah .. im SURE it can be done (cough) ,... just take a look at my hand-held ps2 that i put in my PLAM Pilot... i dont need a PSP

OMG....it's REALLY in a pencil sharpener....WOW...you can tweak it so that the ps2 uses its laser to make a 'laser-sharp' pencil tip...then...go find SHADOPH stab him for lying to use...Hahaha...that was a good laugh from both of ya...I'll believe it when I see some real evidence....Nice try...Shadoph...

Yeah, just seeing if anyone would believe me. Got the idea, and instead of asking if you thought it would work, it did this. So you don't think it's possible?

almost nothign is impossible ,... but its not worth it... and if u were gonna put a ps2 in a psx... your best bet would be to use the new pstwo which alreayd has a flip top o u aint gotta worry aboUT A DISC TRAY

it's just like...
you could put a ps2 into a shoebox also, but why would you want to?
anyway, if it's something you think would be cool, go for it... and good luck, i think it would be a little too cramped though...

What about on the controller the part where you connect it, how did you get taht gray and the little plastic thing about an inch below it on the cord.You can take those off.

Cooling would probably be a problem for a psx/ps2 ... go cut up a pstwo

detonator - I'm sure its possible, if you ever watch TSS, yoshi made a case that housed BOTH ps2 and xbox. kinda bulky, but awesome.
