My PS2 Mod Idea

I was wondering if there is any way of modding a PS2 to have a 3 disc cd tray? I know I will have to build a whole new case for it but I just wanted to know if you could huck up a 3 disc cd tray from a old cd player to work on a PS2?

If you can, can some one tell me the best way to do this before a go and fuck up my cd player and PS2.

It's possible but it's way too complicated for me to figure out. I assume you would want to make it like a CD/DVD changer for the PS2 so you don't have to change disc's all the time? If that's the case just put all your games on a HD for your PS2. I remember when there was a add on for the Sega Genesis where you could plug several games in it and then press a button next to the game to select it and play it.

i think you would have to first make ur own "box"...actuall console cuz its not going to all fit.... then u need to take out the disk tray find a rotating multi disc tray and put it on where the old disc tray usto be. you gona have to position it so when it rotates it this disc will be right where it usto be with orignal tray. yo have to hook up motors to it and then i think u can hook up the eject button with motor so each time u press it, it rotates....just my 2 cents on how it can be done....hell of alot of work do... :chinscrat

All I have to do is Sculpt a case from clay that the PS2 and 3 disc tray can fit in. Put it on the table and Vacuum my own plastic shell. That?s no problem.
It's just the technical side I'm a little stuck on.

just get a cd changer and thow your ps2 in it with the motors that move the ps2 laser up and down.... it e'll take time buy it is very doable/..... if i can put a computer in a dvd player shell then u can put yopru ps2 in a cd changer
