Here's my list for the 0.03 version:
the only way I got the emu to work was ps2link with ps2client

[edit]:list updated

Metal Slug 1:works fine
Metal Slug 2:works with slowdowns
KOF 98:works slow
KOF 97:works slow
KOF 96:works slow
KOF 95:works ( a bit slower than 97)
KOF 94:works slow (maybe the slowest)
Crossed swords:works great
Crossed swords 2:works fine
Cyber Lip:works (lots of slowdown)
Last Resort:works;good speed
Magical Drop 2:works good
Mutation Nation:works great (a few slowdowns, but maybe because of the game itself)
Ninja Commando:same as Mutation Nation
Ninja Combat:works (slow)
Samurai Spirits:works good speed when the characters are close but major slowdowns as soon as they move away from each other
Samurai Spirits 2:works ;nice speed with big slowdowns(same as SS1)
Samurai Spirits 3:works slow (also a really slight blinking at the right of the screen during fights)
Samurai Spirits 4:works slow (also the power gauge blinks)
Samurai Spirits RPG:launchs fine(can't say more since the game doesn't work when I start a game, but I'm almost sure that it happens because I use a 630MB ps1 cd to boot and the toc of SSRPG must be higher).
Viewpoint:works great
Fatal Fury:works;nice speed (far from fullspeed though)
Fatal Fury 3:works slow
Real Bout Fatal Fury:works (slow)
Real Bout Fatal Fury 2:works slow
Real Bout Fatal Fury Special:works ( a bit speedier than RBFF)
Pleasure Goal 5 on 5:good speed with a major bug:country flags and players are represented with just a vertical line.
Sengoku 2:works slooowly
Soccer Brawl:works,good speed with slowdowns
Ghost Pilots:works great (few slowdowns but probably the game's fault)
Pulstar:works (a bit slow):big slowdowns when enemies are on screen
Super Spy:works great
Magician Lord:works slow(same blinking as SS3 only it's on both sides of the screen)
Blue's journey:works slow
Top Hunter:works (slow)
Iron Clad:works fine (but slowdowns when lots of enemies on screen;maybe the game?)
NAM 1975:works with some slowdowns
Alpha Mission 2:works with slowdowns
Burning Fight:works pretty good
Robo Army:works pretty good (not sure if it's fullspeed)
Windjammers:works great.yoohoo!
World Heroes 2:works very slow
Super Sidekicks 3:works,speed is very unstable and there is a major bug in the background :the field is replaced by the audience(???) during the game.

I think the intro is skipped in some games.(can't be sure though)
There are still other games to test,I can't wait for 0.04!
Thanks evilo

yeah !! back from holiday and we have a first official compatibility list :) thank you very much :)

version 0.04 should be out soon now, the time for me to finalize the new display routines... I will try also to work furthermore on the sound emulation to get it less buggy/choppy/slow, or maybe release it before if I see that it takes me too much time :) It also already contains a bunch of fix/bug correction like the loading issue from same cd reported in another thread...

sorry for the low progress guys, but being alone and already well busy with real life, I only have few "free" time to dedicate to neocd !!

anyway see you very soon with a new release !!! going to sleep now ...

for the english, don't worry as I'm not either english speaking myself !

just for people who want to try this emu with network :use xlink (inlink had a bug when transferring the elf) and ps2client can do it but it doesn't have the resest option so you have to turn off/on the ps2 everytime you want to change game :banghead:

that's what I had to do for all the games...

pava :
watch out, as I also speak a bit spanish ;)
more seriously don't worry as next version should be out really soon :shhh:

boule :
ps2link is also working with this emulator, and used with ps2exec, you can reset the console with it.
Note that there is let's say a "bug" in the ps2ip module of all ps2link version that prevent from using repeatitive small reads. Im the coming version I rewrote the loading part to avoid the problem (load whole ipl.txt and parse it in memory), so neocd is now working with all version of ps2link, but version 0.03 is still using the old method. Anyway neocd 0.03 was working fine for me using ps2link 1.23
