my friend modded his case, I thought you guys might like to see it.


the chrome color doesn't show up as well in the pictures as it does in person.

The tray modding is pretty cool, same with the window. And the paint splatter is a nice effect. I just really don't like the radioactive cut-out on the left.

looks pretty good... i like the tray mod,,... but wont it weat out a litle bit from the cd/dvd spining and hitting the tray sometimes?

it'll wear and fade just like any other paint job I guess. the part where the disc actully sits isn't painted, and when a disk is spinning in the tray it's lifted off of it first any ways. to be honest, I think the paint on the tray will last longer than the rest of the paint of the system.

the xbox you see is actully pink and purple. it also has a few light mods done to it like a clear jewel with a blue light behind it. lights in the controller ports, lights in the controller plugs and lights in a controller. it's something we just have sitting out on our store shelf as an example of some of the simpler mods we can do.

My PS2 will be done tomorrow (if all goes acording to plan) and I'll have pics of it up ASAP.
