sorry, im a totally newbie about ps2 stuffs.. i just want to ask whether is there any ways where i can use my personal thumb drive to transfer data in/out of the ps2 mem card? if yes how?

Depending on a few things, it's possible, if you have a modchip and your pendrive is compatible then u can simply use PS2OS alpha 0.2 cdversion and transfer files directly from your thumbdrive to your MC.

P.S. Be sure to check the README included in PS2OS for details on placing USBD.IRX on your memorycard. (its still a bit buggy at the moment but it gets the job done)

UMMM.... try getting AR MAX.... it has Thumbdrive support and can read and write the system file.... with that you can install te exploit...

if you want to just use it to move game saves you won't need the exploit.

got the xploder v5 without the xploder-pendrive, is there a way to use my other pendrive, Lexar Media 128M Jumpdrive, or is it not compatible?

I just got AR MAX today and it sees my Jump Drive just fine.

Is it the EVO edition? I've had the AR Max for a while and it doesn't see the Lexar USB drive at all. Does it have to be formatted in some way? If so, how do you do that?

I do know that my AR Max is pre-version 3.14. I have to use the "AR Max before version 3.14" cheat to use the Silent Hill 4: The Room cheats, if that helps anyone

Only the AR Max Evo has pen drive support

Use LaunchELF 3.33, it has usb drive support, and you don't need to make a max save file.

Mine is jsut the AR MAX... not evo or the drive setup.... If the device manager has the USB Pendrive pic on the menu it supports it.... if it isn't there than you need t get another version....

NOTE: CodeBreaker 8.0 supports the USB device but not copying the system files.... which sucks btw

It is the AR MAX EVO. I just got it last week after Sony freakin demo disc unformated my memory card.
