Anyone put a screen in their case?

So has anybody stuck an LCD in their case yet? As soon as I get one of those HIP Gear LCD Controllers with the 2.5" Lcd I'm gonna give it a go. I hope to place it so when it is in the vertical stand you can view the screen. Any siggestion/thoughts?

that would be pretty damn kool.... take alot of pics while your doing it so after i see what youve done... imma do the same thing but make it a little different so its not exactl;y the same but ive been thinking about doing it for awhile , just need the funds and know how.

I too was thinking of doing this u shouldn't have a problem with heat... My ps2 right now runs without the fan cause I thought it was to loud and have not had a problem but when I deside to do the lcd mod I will put the fan back in as a fail safe...

it runs without the fan freak? I had an old ps2 that as soon as the fan died, it would turn on, stay on for less than 10-12 seconds, then shut off from overheating (no hdd on that one)

Yes it run's with no fan at the moment and I've yet to have problems... I've never tested it for long periods. The longest it's been on was like 4hrs that was during gameing I useally don't have it on longer then 2 hr's though. Where was ur system at was it next to other objects that get warm or was it in a well ventalated area? Mine is next to nothing so theres plenty of air flow around it... Maybe I've just been lucky and my system should have problems without the fan... Did it fry the system? Cause if it did maybe I should be more careful cause I don't want to buy a new system.

mine personally didn't fry, as I luckily found that the fan wasn't working before that occured, my ps2 has plenty of ventalation, although my friends ps2 was less lucky, had the same problem and for some reason it did not shut off from overheating and fried it ... dunno if it had to do with out dif versions or not though
