Opened a new V9 from box for modding. After installation PS2/PS1 backup ( CD&DVD media) worked fine but DVD movie does not. ( don't tell me how to hold reset botton) It just boot to black screen. Checked installation no fault found so I just removed modchip but still same result. PS2 original fine but the demo disc stopped boot in half way; DVD movie not working at all. I did not test the PS2 before breaking the seal. I think the mobo is faulty from factory. Laser is fine coz I put the whole dvd drive into another V9 and worked fine.What else could be wrong ? any idea?
