hello, i have an pre-modded ps2 from china. I am not sure what mod chip is inside. But if i hold down on power for 3 sec or press the power button 3+ times it disable the mod chip. The main problem is that the ps2 itself is v10 NTSC-J region (store said it was taiwan). So if i turn off the mod chip, it won't play US games (Nfl 2k5). I tried leaving to chip on and see if it is able to go to sleep after it boots into the game but that does not work. I get error code -611 or -402. Is it possible if i buy say some sort of swap magic, will that work?
