I'm no expert but I'd say yes. The Dreamcast port is already near full speed without using frameskip and CDDA is working on an handfull of titles.

clearly ;)
the hard trick on the ps2 is being able to use the hardware correctly... most of all with the GS where you can double performace by using the right thing...
I won't say more, but previous version (0.03) wasn't using the gs hardware very well....
stay tuned for the 0.04 !!
note : concerning memory, the dc has 16mb of ram,and the ps2 32mb, so double quantity, what more do you want ?

NeoGeo is my all time favourite ;)
There is actually a lot of difference between NeoGeo and NeoGeoCD.. This emu does NeoGeoCD, and... does not do the cart based NeoGeo games....
And to the OP, yeah, PS2 can definitly handle NeoGeoCD. Evilo has barely scratched the surface of optimization yet and it's already running superb!

I got a question to you evilo, do you already think to make another port of any emu to the ps2?.. i mean in 3 nearly versions you made a explendid emu-work... like a very big fan of snk that i am.. i wondering if you are interested to port a emu like neopop (http://www.emuxhaven.net/~neopop/)..

sorry ...
well, of course I already think of the next port I could do, and alreayd have some idea !!!... but concerning neopop, even if I'm a great snk fan, I'm not so fan of the neo pocket... so no precise plan on porting neopocket atm but why not !!!
Anyway It won't be before next year, as this is the time I need to finish something decent with neocd. Version 0.4 is almost finished, and version 0.5 will be out for the end of the year. After that, I will less work on neocd and start working on something else.
so to be continued...
