I allready have my PS2 hooked up to the cable service through a router. I want to hook another Ps2 up. Simple question - Instead of having to run 150 + ft of cat5 cable through celings and such, couldn't I hook another modem up to the cable since I have Cable TV in the room with the sencond Ps2 ?

NO- NO I do NOT want to buy a wireless router and all, more $$, and the hard wired network set up works just fine. Too many problems :banghead:

Thanks

This answer may differ from area services and such, but around here, that would cause you to need yet another IP address from your ISP, which in turn would cause you to be paying double for net service ... just my 2 cents ...

AFAIK you can register a second network card on the network for no additional cost.

yes, second card usually as in second computer, but not a second modem, you have to get a router or switch.... sorry
