Recent releases can't boot correctly...

Hi,

I'm having trouble booting a few recent released ps2 games... SRS, Star Ocean 3, Burnout 3 etc. All i got is a black screen after booting with AR 2.0 and swap with DMC. I have a Jap PS2 with Neo 2.5 DVD modchip installed long ago. I used Alochol 120% 1x to burn the isos, Do I need to replace to a newer modchip inorder to boot these isos? All past DVD games works fine. for example Megaman Collection, and Samari Warrior.

Newer games do multiple disc-checks. I'd suggest getting a newer full-blown modchip if that is an option for you.

If not, you may want to check and see if CDLoader or DVDLoader would make it work for you. First link HERE (http://www.google.com/search?&q=cdloader)

i SWAP :) i have no probs wit swap magic :-p and cdlaoder..heh..

just SOME games.. won't load.. wit those NEW protection >_< aka eagames will freeze wen u play online...

splinternet cell pandOra will freeze at the O >_<

Swap magic boots the newest games out.

Most MOD Chips suck after a few months/a year as they get detected thus making them a waste of money and pointless.

Splinter Cell Pandora works for me with Swap on and offline.

Using a v.5 and v.10 console...

how are you booting Pandora on your v10 console meta? i have a version 9 and as far as i know the triple protection is still on the v10. i really want it to work but so far no luck...
