Ok heres the story I ran an exploit to run PS2MENU SO I COULD RUN VARIOUS ELF FROM MEM CARD,HDD,ETC. I Use to run Win XP, but for some stupid reason I am currently runnin 98. So i copied my mem card files over to othe peoples card , made up a new title.db for them (on whatever ps1 disc they gave me) and the ran fine. So now i got away from running an exploit over the summer, actually deleted off the mem card before backing it up. Wanted to run the exploit again, so i got one of the mem cards from one of the people i orig gave it too, changed the title.db for my ps one disc, and whoila NOTHING!!! Just boots the ps1 game, the only diff is his title.db is label TITLE.DB , but when i extract it to a file on the computer and add a slus number to it, win98 changes it to Title.db. I would think this does not matter, but nothing has changed ?? Unless it specif looks for TITLE.DB, what does win98 do to file names that Win XP does not???

DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM SAYING FOR ALL THE EXPLOIT EINSTEINS IN HERE YOU WOULD THINK I WOULD SEE AT LEAST ONE RESPONSE, win 98 does not save the TITLE.DB AS TITLE.DB, it saves it as Title.db (lowercase ) which the exploit cannot reas.HELP!!!!

I doubt capitalisation matters...
But, if it did....couldn't you just....rename it to TITLE.DB?

I have tried that and win 98 automatically resets it to Title.db no matter what i have tried taken away associations away from ir, but i think it has to do with code on the diff between .?? and .??? extensions, windows says internally if it is two numerical extension then rename, i dont know i did the exlpoit when i was running win xp, no problem, no i am running 98 again and i cant do it, i freakin soon
