I'm one of those unfortunate souls who seems to have absolutely no luck getting the CD version of Swap Magic to work. DVDs work with no problem, but... *sigh*

I have the BIOS file already, and I'm not asking someone to give it to me... what would be nice, though, would be if someone could make a utility that would use the emu files and build an ISO file to burn... that would at least take out some of the guesswork. I saw this done for a Dreamcast SNES emulator (DreamSNES, I think it was called).

Failing that, can someone who HAS gotten the emulator to boot from CD provide some assistance? I've tried using the instructions provided on another thread here ("once you have all necessary files (see readme), burn them all on a cd using the following configuration : mode1, iso9660 (ISO Level 1) - no multisession"), but the result simply does not boot. I always get the blinking red/blue border when I try. Would it be somehow possible to dummy up the image file to DVD proportions, so that (hopefully) a DVDR could be used instead? Please help... I'm itching to test this out. Thanks in advance.

sorry, I don't use Swap Magic, so I cannot assist you on this... but anyway yes, a tool or a tutorial would be great, if anyone would have some free time to make sthg ?

i've noticed that sometimes you need to do this to get some cd's to boot:
1. put SM into ps2 and let it boot
2. use swap trick and switch the SM disc with a CDLoader disk
3. let cdloader boot
4. use swap trick and switch CDLoader disc with the disc you want to swap
hope this helps.....
