How to play backups with AR Max?

I recently bought AR Max. I have some backups that I want to play with AR Max. What do I need to do to get these backups to play with AR cheats? I have cdloader, both swap magic discs: cd and dvd. I am using a no soldier modchip, and my ps2 version is 4.

you need AR2 versions 1.93 thru 2.22, newer than that are MADCATZ products, who bought it from Interact, those are garenteed to Sony by Madcatz to be absolutely impossible to use in any way with copies.
Read my guide, GameShark2 and Action Replay 2 are the exact same product, for different markets, version for version everything applies to AR2 as well, EXCEPT for the Japanese AR2, to apply my guide to that, substitute "hit "X"" for "hit "O"", instead.
