ok i have a burned game my friend picked up from the local game shop that sells burned games.

now another friend had swap magic 3.2 and came over, and we used his swap magic to boot the game "Sakura Taisen Atsuki Chishio Ni" and it worked fine.

So a week later my friend who bought the game also wanted swap amgci but he ended up getting Swap Magic 2.0, now we were trying to play his burned game again and when we boot it jsut goes to a black screen using SM 2.0, but it works with 3.2. So my guess is the game is dual layered(DVD9) but even if this is the case, why did SM 3.2 boot it? Does SM 3.2 support DVD9 Games while SM 2.0 does not? or do you think the game jsut got damaged? im looking at the disk here and its a bit scratched but i dont think severly.

Plz reply ASAP

I have both SM 3.2 and 2.0. The difference is what it will boot. The 2.0 is for CD-r burned games the 3.2 is the dvd-/+r booter.

As for it just going to a black screen and doing nothing:

Well i've quite a number of games and simple as this...some work some don't. MOST will but not all. Give it three or four tries and if it does the same thing each time, throw that wasted CD/DVD away...or keep it around if you still got hope.

With the TOC thing:

So far while booting the burned games i have, i have had only 1 out of about 30 give me a TOC problem. Can't remember which game it was but it was burned on a CD-r and when i got the same game burned on a DVD it worked perfectly.

...And that's all i have to say about that.

okay...hold on...let me get this...They have SwapMagic 3.2 for DVD now??...I thought 3.2 was only for CD...unless I haven't been told, I think you got this wrong...SwapMagic disc cann't not boot DVD9...you need a real MODchip or you'll have to rip the game to a smaller size like 4gig...I mean...I HAVE CDv2/DVDv2/CDv3.2 and that's all i've heard from...I dunno anything about swapMagicDVD v3.2...I must be behind......
