Help please! I tried so many different ways to install the MC exploit, but I keep getting a "unable to open destination file: TILE.DB" when I boot the EXPINST on my PS2. Could someone tell me what is wrong?
Thanks

I even renamed a TILE.DB and that still doesnt work. Made a disc with both TITLE.DB and TILE.DB, keeps saying the same message...gone thru about 20 blanc discs.... need help.
Try using cdloader.
If that doesnt work, give me your email, what you want on the disc, and the ps1 game, and I'll help you out.

Make sure your MC is formatted in the Browser

ok, i am not worthy. i formated the ps2 memory card using mc format and that one doesn't work, but the 2nd ps2 memory card works because it was formated using the browser long time ago....sigh... need to put that note in the mc exploit tutorial so ppl dont waste so much blanks like i did... :banghead:
ok, the problem wasnt with the mc format. it was with 2 memory cards plugged in. if I have 2 cards in the ps2, i'll get that error everytime. but with just single card, i'm good.
these are the people i ran in to constantly when i had my email address up on my guide. http://www.********.com/hdloader (no longer active)..
people cant even do their own basic troubleshooting. that is why i hate nuubs.

you ever post an attachment with warez again, you will be banned!!
jesus christ dude. didnt you even read the fucking post?? that no longer active part should have been pretty specific.
http://www.********.com/hdloader = no hdloader, no warez.
i do know what you mean though, i did recieve a retarded C&D letter from the dms folks, but it turned out to be bullshit. what are they gonna do, take me to court? i'm sure sony would like to see them there :P
anyhow, i'm not linking to warez!
