Hi, requesting help/info on 2 things:

1. Max Drive (datel) - I bought it, works very nice. Found out that you can actually use ANY usb thumb-drive / flash drive with the program (even 1GB+) Now, the saves come in .max extension.

does that mean my max drive saves aren't compatible with xport/sharkport or is there another converter?

2. I found many handy FFX-2 saves on gamefaqs.com but I have the Japanese version of the game. Don't think this question's been asked in the forums here:

is there a way to use 'american version' saves of FFX-2 (or any RPG) and use it on the 'japanese versions' of the game?

any comments/info would be appreciated. thanks

I have an XPORT Datel X-Link, and I have both 10k and 30k Japanese consoles, as well as a U.S. console, and I've been trying to back-hack jap-us versions of onimusha 3 saves (I have both Jap and US versions of those) with no sucess, yet. But I sill might be able to help you out, if you have an xport cable, we can email saves and such, just because I have the Japanese machines and the tools. I you do email me both versions of the save in xps sport format, and I'll try hacking them up.
