is it possable to burn ps2 save son a disc and load to mem card?

i dont have xport but i was wondering since i have the matrix manager on my memory card, (put on there through cd) can i have like some saved game files put on a CDr and move them to my hard drive? i am using the inifnity chip firmware 1.2

I remember someone said one way to do it was this :

use inlink+pukklink to make a connection between pc and ps2
run elf file of nport, then transfer saves to mc
then transfer saves from mc to hdd using ps2menu-k

I use nero personally for this.....
1. Have PS2mnu installed on you memcard and boot it up.
2. burn whatever files you want to copy to your mem card\hdd on a cd, making sure it burns in mode 2.
3. insert cd in the PS2
4. set your "copy to" folder in ps2mnu by browsing to either your mem card or saves folder.
5. browse the cd (psfo: or whatever), and copy the saves by hitting the x button I beleive it is. then BAM, there are your saves.

I had a similar question, which I'll just ask here instead of making a new topic. Could you just download a save from the net, move it to the hdd over a network (as a backup) then copy or move it to the mem card? Or would you have to change the extension or type of file it is?

umm... sry for ask'n but do u no where i can find the newest ver of ps2menu-k? ^_^

cause the verison i have now can only backup the memcard one folder at a time >_<

is it ps2menu or -k that can do a full memcard backup wit like one click :-p?

yeah no one seems to want to ask my q. can you download a game save for xport or something and save it to the hdd as a backup, then transfer it to the mem card and use it? or would you have to change the format or something?

you'd have to use ps2save tool to extract the files, then transfer it to the MC via execftps or something to that effect.
