Looks nice so far, I like that color alot. Make sure you do alot of very thin layers, then thin layers of clear coat.

I will :) I'm currently trying to tape the PS2 logo on top.. It's extremely LONG to do lol.. I hope it'll be perfect.. I'll have a metallic blue ps2 :headbang: I'll only lkeep the reset, eject and maybe port controllers black.. I'll even cover up the sony logo on the side.. and the stickers too.. Just as if it was an original case =)
I'll probably start it tomorrow.. I'll post pics I promise =) .. this is my first case mod btw :)

the first pic is my SCPH30000 NTSC-J Japanese version 5, with the clear blue fliptop and blue painted bottom, second is my beloved DTL-H10000S, with the clear blue (lighter) 10k replacement cover set, then my DTL-H30001, which I left as is, as well as another DTL-H10000 I have, since they have the cool debugging station "TEST" covers, I have a modded v7 painted a nice purple, but i have yet to take a picture of it.
Someone explain to me how to insert pictures like you did, I cant figure it out.

It's simple you need to ehm.. host the picture on a site.. such as www.photobucket.com then you write down somethin' like [img]insert the link to you image[img] with photobucket it's as simple as copy pasting the line:) you'll understand well if you join this site

I understand now, thanks. I was wondering why clicking insert image demanded an adress, now I get it, well put.

off topic but what do you mean by SCPH39001 Magic 3.1 w/toggle switch, and can you tell me details how to do it?

well, to answer juandelacosta's question, I mean an SCPH39001 with a magic 3.1 wired to a 3 pole toggle switch (and a really cool blue 5v led from the shack) that either powers the pcb to 5v+, or shorts it to gnd to drain it off, so i can use it, then turn it off (play online?) also simplifies the dvd player for dummies, and so on.....yes to all the usual next: I can use it, then disable it while the ps2 is on and running, the thing is absolutely dnas undetectable when switched off, since the pcb goes to gnd.
the one purple one pictured I built for my sister, works great, just to show you where I installed the toggle switch and led, led is optional, the switch can just be hanging in the exp bay, if functional, yet unseeable is what you want.
