HDloader Help

I downloaded like 5 different versions of Hdloader and 4 out of the 5 give the same result. it loads fine. im able to install a game, but i can get any game to play. i just get a black screen. i have a version 4 ps2 and i use the gameshark swap trick to load it. any help is apreciated. thanks in advance.

what gaem did you use. maybe its not compatible

i tryed gran turismo3, crash team racing, and q-ball. all installed without problems just cant get em to play.

they are probably just the RIP versions...meaning you need an original HDLoader, or crazy taxi disk.

try to find the 698kb version of hdloader. It will work 100%.

8mb works the 142 mb works and the 698k works

Ive tried all the cracked versions and all work the same, The memory card one is different of course to set up, but works fine.

I installed the 887 MB version and I get the same problem as ynk1121 described.

I installed MVP Baseball 2004 and when I click play all I get is blank screen. I tried waiting for a few minutes, but no change.

Perhaps we are doing something wrong?

Let me describe the procedure I used, please tell me if this is erroneous.

Installed the 887 MB version onto a DVD-R. Burned the ISO with roxio.

Run the DVDr on the ps2, boots as normal game.
I have just a test 15 GB HD installed, so I click INSTALL it prompts insert CD/DVD I insert MVP Baseballball 2004. I have it installed on a DVD-R. Its a direct copy of my friend's who owns it.

It installs, takes about 18 minutes.

I then click Play and as described Blank screen.

Tried playing many times and same results.

Any opinions?

Check games compatibility lists for HD Loader.
MVP Baseball 2004 needs Mode 3 to work correctly.

I just realized this as you wrote your message, was about to come back and edit my post, but youre too quick.

press select in hdloader theres a mode menu should pop up. dont' forget to highlight the game u want to set a mode for

AGAIN you guys are way to quick for me :) Awesome to say the least that this community is so tight with helping one another.

ANYHOW just to update, did get this to work. Playing as we speak. This made my day to say the least :)

I am having the same problem. I have tried the crazy taxi version and the cracked version. I installed a legit copy of Tony hawk pro skater 3 and clicked play, it just sat there with a black screen. I have a neokey I use to load up the hdloader through gameshark 2.

This won't work, use the memcard exploit.

if I do the memcard exploit it installs fine but I get a black screen when I try to trigger it. I am using twisted metal 2. I have also tried a pizza hut demo disk and Mortal kombat trilogies.
