how to copy hdloader?

can someone post a tutorial on how to make a copy of hdloader? I have the elf file that was posted for less than a day when it was cracked, i believe that is all i need right? i dont know what to do with it though. thanks in advance, also how do you burn it so i can use it with crazy taxi, do i have to burn it as a cd? i was trying to do it as a dvd and it wouldnt work.

the "cracked" version that was posted for less than a day requires no crazy taxi swap. it is a full working version.

Just make a SYSTEM.CNF that points to the hdloader.elf file, and burn the cd. If it doesnt work, as some ppl are having trouble, try taking the disc out of the drive, and putting it back in while its loading. (i think thats what you have to do)

What I have done with the same cracked version is saved it on HDD, and I use ps2menu (via exploit) to execute the hdloader.elf file. Works perfectly this way.

Is there a tutorial that takes you step by step through this process? I am not that familiar with the ps2, i know my way around the xbox a little better. THanks!
