western digital hdd?

anyone who have a working western digital harddisc installed? i know i have to make some modifications on the network adapter, but when i have done that, will the harddisc work? i have a 40gb hdd with 7200rpm.

my network adapter only have a ethernet conection, no modem plug.

will this work? i dont have a swap disc yet, so i cant try

My Western Digital 120gb works flawlessly, the only thing i had to do was mod the network adapter...

do you have the network adapter with only ethernet or the network adapter with ethernet and modem?

My adapter has the spots for ethernet and phone line hook-ups
